Prevent Obesity, select Menu High Protein for Kids Breakfast

Before a day of activity, the child should be given a nutritious breakfast menu. One of them is recommended that a high intake of protein such as eggs.

Studies prove the provision of high-protein menu for breakfast child can make full longer. It also will reduce the chance of children eating too much during the day. The child's weight can be maintained so as not rise excessively.

It is important for parents to choose the type of food that can keep your child satisfied, while still keeping the calorie intake. Moreover, children prone to excessive weight gain.


The study has been published in the journal Eating Behaviours was conducted involving 40 children aged 8-10 years. They were divided into three groups, each asked to have breakfast with a menu of processed eggs, oatmeal and cereal.

After that they were given time to play around with the research staff. Lunch with the same menu was prepared for them in the next hour.

According to the study, after eating eggs, children stay energized until lunch time. Noteworthy, children do not eat excessively during the day, compared with children who had breakfast with a menu other than eggs. Therefore, the researchers recommend that children should be given a breakfast menu that is rich in protein such as eggs.

Spot adequacy exceeds calories, even a little, can lead to overweight and obesity in children if done prolonged.
